Voice Select National FAQs

Can I change my Voice Select National plans to any other Voice Select plans?Yes, you can migrate to any other call select plans at any time during the month but penalty charges will apply if you downgrade from your current plan. However, there will be no charges to upgrade to a higher package.

When I change between contractual plans, what will happen to my current contract?Whenever you change between contractual plans, a new contract period would apply from the date of switching contracts. You’ll be charged a foreclosure fee equal to one month fee.

Is there any minimum commitment period for these plans?Yes, these plans come with a 12 month contract. In case of early termination or change, the rate plan customer has to pay foreclosure charge of one month rate plan fee as penalty.

What will happen after I finish my 12 months contract?You can continue with the plan benefits and monthly fee. Termination of contract after the initial 12 months will not have any foreclosure charges.

Can I migrate from Voice Select National 1500 Promo to Voice Select National 7500?Yes, you can change your rate plan at any time, but prorata rules will apply for free units and monthly fee.

How are my free units deducted if subscribed to Voice Select National and an add-on bundle?Your free units are deducted first from your rate plan and then from your add-on bundle.

How does Business Call Select work?You’ll get an auto-dialler or your PBX will be programmed to make calls on our network. This way you’ll continue using your landline just as usual.

Why do I need to use an auto-dialler or programme my PBX?With an auto-dialler or programming of your PBX, you don’t need to dial the 08888 access code before dialling any national or international number. We’ll provide you the dialler free of charge.

Who can subscribe to Business Call Select service?Any authorised owner of a non-du business landline in the UAE can subscribe to our Business Call Select.

Do I have to cancel my non-du landline or change my number?No, you’ll continue using your current landline.

Will my customer still see the same landline number?Yes, your customer will continue to see your existing landline number.

Am I charged by my network provider for transferring calls to du?No, you’ll not be charged for making national or international calls when using our Business Call Select.

Does that mean that I'll receive two bills?Yes. All mobile, national and international calls will be billed by us.
All other calls within UAE: local calls (calls to same area code), special number, short codes and emergency calls will continue to go through your existing service provider including your telephone line rental. -
Are there any charges for auto-diallers?No, the auto-dialler is free of charge, simply subscribe.

I have a PBX. Can I use Business Call Select service?Yes, you can use Business Call Select service by programming your PBX. Your PBX maintainer would do the programming of PBX.
In case you don’t have one, we can also support you in programming 08888 on your PBX, free of charge.
