You must have an active toll-free 800 number to port-in.

Toll free number portability is available across all du Omni Channels.
Toll free number portability is valid for corporate sales only (not applicable for MPR)
Documentation
Toll-Free Service 800 (The porting application form with the complete details must be signed by the authorised signatory).
Valid trade license (The trade license ecopy must be stamped and signed).
Valid establishment card (The establishment card ecopy must be stamped and signed). Valid passport with visa or Emirates ID of the authorised signatory.

The process of switching telecom operators can take up to 5 working days.

Yes, there will be slight down time during the port in process.

There are no charges for porting in Your existing 800 toll free number to du. After porting in, you will be normally charged as per the 800 rate plan and the monthly usage.
