Call Collect details:

Call Collect is a free service that allows you to make a call even when you’re out of credit. The person receiving your call simply has to accept the call charges. This service is active on all postpaid and prepaid lines.

• Available to all prepaid and postpaid customers.

How to use Call Collect?

Option 1:

• Step 1: Dial *132*<05xxxxxxxx># where ‘05xxxxxxxx’ is the number of the person you want to call.
• Step 2: The person will receive a prompt asking them to either accept or reject the call charges.
• Step 3: Once approved, the call is connected.
• Step 4: If the person rejects the collect call, you’ll receive an SMS that the call was rejected.

Option 2:
Trying to make a call but you have a low balance? No worries. Simply dial 2 for Call Collect.

Personalize your Call Collect

With Call Collect’s Blacklist and Whitelist feature, you can automatically reject or accept calls. In case you don’t want someone to collect call you, just add them to your Blacklist and that number will be rejected automatically. If want to accept collect calls automatically from your best friends and family, add them to your Whitelist. To create your Whitelist or Blacklist, dial *132# and follow the instructions.

  1. How does Call Collect work?

     The free service is automatically activated for all du mobile customers. When you’re out of credit and want to call a person, dial *132*#. The person will receive a call and listen to a message that you are asking for a collect call and he/she can either accept or reject the call. By accepting the call, the person agrees to pay the call charges as per the applicable tariff on their billing plan.
     - Prepaid customers: The amount will be deducted from their balance. - Postpaid customers: The amount will be listed as a regular call in their bill.
     Note: Call Collect ONLY works when both parties are in the UAE.

  2. Who is eligible to use Call Collect?

     The Call Collect service is available for all du Consumer/Enterprise/Postpaid/Prepaid mobile customers. The service is not available when a customer is on Roaming.

  1. What if I want only certain people to request me for Call Collect?

     In case you want only specific people to request for a Call Collect from you, then a Blacklist and Whitelist can be created. To create your list, dial *132# and follow the instructions.
     Note: - Numbers added to the Whitelist will be connected without permission. - Numbers added to the Blacklist will be rejected automatically needing confirmation.
