- Go to MyWorld and select roaming then select ‘start roaming'
- Customers will then receive a pop up message saying ‘please re-start your mobile to enjoy roaming'. Switch off the mobile and restart again to connect and activate roaming.

Dubai, 4 July: Keeping in line with its commitment towards offering convenience and comfort for customers, du, the new telecom operator in the UAE, offer International Roaming Services across more than 170 countries with over 364 networks. Both Monthly Plan and Pay as you Go customers can enjoy this facility. Features available while roaming will depend on the type of the package (Monthly Plan or Pay as you Go) the customer has subscribed to. Customers using Roaming will also have the convenience of making mobile payments while abroad, by registering their credit card on the customer care number 135. Customers can also log on to www.du.ae and register their credit card for making mobile payments while using international roaming service. Those travelling abroad on business will find it convenient to conduct business from anywhere across the globe. Our customers will find it valuable to be billed for calls in their local currency and get 24 hour access to du customer care in case they require assistance." International Roaming service is already activated on all UAE Nationals' Monthly plan SIM cards and on all Pay as You Go SIM cards as well, regardless of nationality. Expats will have to pay AED 2000 deposit to activate International roaming on their Monthly plan SIM cards. To use the International Roaming Service, du customers simply need to switch on their mobile phones when they reach their destination and the du SIM will automatically seek the best network.
