du Service Centres in Dubai to Start from 1 March
Centres re-structured to accommodate more customers The opening date of Dubai based du service centre has been changed to 1 March, 2007 instead of 28 February as stated earlier, due to a complete re-structuring in order to increase its capacity to now accommodate up to 1,000 customers and serve 400 Number Booking Campaign customers at any given time. The Dubai service centres, located at the Zabeel B Hall, Dubai World Trade center, will now be operational from 1-8 March, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. du has taken this step in response to the overwhelming demand received at du shops since the opening on 25 February. The opening date of the second service centre at Abu Dhabi will be announced shortly as the level customer demand in the emirate was significantly higher, which required a more comprehensive restructure in the service centre located in the capital city. Osman Sultan, chief executive officer of du, said: “The du service centres have been set up to offer comfort and convenience to all our customers who have pre-booked du numbers during the 055 MY NUMBER campaign. Our aim is to provide them with du SIM cards at the earliest, so that our patient customers can start experiencing the du network. The increased capacity of the centres will enable us to respond to our customer needs with enhanced efficiency.” A total of 170 assistants in the Dubai based centre speaking Arabic, English and Hindi will be ready to assist consumers and ensure a smooth operational experience. du service centres have been set up as additional temporary outlets that support the 11 du shops across the UAE. Customers also have the option of payment through the website www.du.ae and through 10 premium dealer outlets which are Axiom, Alltronix, Emirates Computers, EROS, Fono, Jacky's, Jumbo, One Mobile, Plug-Ins, RadioShack & Telefonika.
