The main account holder (MyFamily head) is required to be a du Monthly Plan user for him or his family to benefit from a host of exciting benefits. Family members within MyFamily could be Pay as you Go (pre-paid), Monthly Plan (post paid) or a non-du UAE mobile line. The account can be created and managed very easily via SMS. There is no need to go to a shop or provide any documents.
Elaborating on this new service, Farid Faraidooni, EVP Commercial du said “Strengthening family bonds through communication is something du is proud to be doing. MyFamily is an affirmation of this commitment, bringing convenience and flexibility, combined with value, to our customers. We have designed unique features such as the sponsored call that will ensure that children are able to stay connected with their parents anytime while parents bear the cost of the call.”

The innovative plan is flexible to accommodate from two up to 15 family members including the family head. A minimal cost of AED 5 per member will be levied to the monthly plan of the MyFamily head, which is waived for the first billing cycle.
The MyFamily head will receive a consolidated bill and is solely responsible for bill payment for all Monthly Plan lines within MyFamily.
du monthly plan subscribers can create MyFamily group by SMSing 'FAMILY 055 XXXXXXX, 055 XXXXXXX' (up to 14 numbers) to 5555. du Pay as you Go subscribers will need to migrate to a Monthly plan line or ask a monthly plan member to add them by simply SMSing FAMILY along with his du number to 5555. Non du UAE mobile lines can be part of MyFamily too, by asking a du Monthly Plan member to add them to their MyFamily group.
Creating MyFamily group is free and any modification or cancellation to the plan is also free.
