Prayer time, Hadeeth and Doaa SMS Services
du Mobile customers can access various services such as Prayer time, Hadeeth and Duaa by simply sending Ramadan to 2312. Charges of AED2 per week are applicable for each service.

 

The Holy Quran Tafseer on 156
Tafseer (meaning) of the Holy Quran is available in Arabic for all du mobile customers as an interactive voice service –the first of its kind service in the UAE. Customers can simply call 156 and press 2 to access 114 Sourahs, each containing multiple verses and Tafseer. Once a Sourah is selected, they can listen to the verses and Tafseer in sequence, and also skip to the next verse. Calls are charged at just 0.5 fils per second (30 fils per minute).

 

Ahmed Bukhatir and Islamic Caller Tunes
Customers can access exclusive Ahmed Bukhatir caller tunes by calling 156, pressing 1 and then pressing 1 for ‘Specials’. For Al majd content within the Islamic category, call 156, press 1 and then press 3 for ‘Islamic’ for Duaa, chants , Hadeeth and poem caller tunes.

 

Prayer Times and Hadeeth on MyWorld SIM portal
du’s MyWorld SIM portal services provide Islamic prayer timings for all Emirates and Hadeeth as on-demand services at just AED 0.5 per request or for a subscription fee of just AED 5 per month. Customers can go to the MyWorld SIM card menu, click on the Islamic section and can then select prayer time, Hadeeth and more.

 

Dubai International Holy Quran Award channel and Al Majd on Mobile TV
Subscribers can watch the Dubai International Holy Quran Award channel for free during Ramadan on du Mobile TV by simply sending SMS DIHQA to 1155 or SMS du1TV to 1155 for the main Mobile TV page. The channel is a leading Islamic forum worldwide on the Holy Quran and endeavours to honour all those who work in the field. Customers can also subscribe to the Al Majd channel with the usual mobile TV subscription packages, which covers Taraweeh prayers live from Mecca.

 

Islamic Special section on MyWorld portal
du’s special Islamic section provides access to spiritual anasheed, Duaa, themes and wallpapers, as well as animation and videos. In addition, a special link provides access to Ahmed Bukhatir’s latest album including spiritual tracks, downloads, ringtones, videos and wallpapers. To access the service, customers simply need visit myworld.du.ae under the Islamic section and select the Ramadan Kareem special option.
