Dubai, UAE: The movie privileges never stop with du Tuesday! On 13 May, 300 lucky winners of du Tuesday’s radio and social media competetions, will treated to an exclusive advanced screening of ‘Godzilla’, in cinemas 15 May, at VOX Cinemas in Mall of the Emirates. In addition to that, du has announced the launch of an exciting new du Tuesday competition: du customers who buy du Tuesday cinema tickets to watch ‘Godzilla’ from 15 May-5 June will have the chance to win a fabulous five night vacation for two to the exotic island of Hawaii! 

Winners will stay on the island of O’ahu, one of the filming locations for ‘Godzilla’, and will have the opportunity to experience Waikiki Beach, as well as the 4,000 acre Kualoa Ranch where an iconic scene from the new movie was shot. Their Great Hawaiian Adventure will also include recreational opportunities of their choice – such as an All Terrain Vehicle Tour of remote areas and stunning scenic valleys, or a Jungle Tour in a six-wheeled adventure car.

Through the du Tuesday campaign, all eligible du prepaid and post-paid mobile customers can enjoy a complimentary second ticket for all films showing at VOX Cinemas in the UAE, 365 days in a year. All they have to do is buy one, to get one free! Tickets cover standard 2D, VIP Seats, VOX MAX, VOX 3D and VOX Plus concepts. Customers can get their free tickets either by buying tickets through VOX Cinemas’ website, www.voxcinemas.com/du, or by showing an SMS coupon code at the cinema box office on a Tuesday. 

How it works, in three easy steps:

1. Customers can get their ticket by sending an SMS with the word ‘movie’ to 9979 from their du number. The text ticket contains a coupon code that they can redeem for two-for-one tickets.
2. Customers will receive the text ticket that contains their two-for-one coupon code, which is valid for any movie showing the upcoming Tuesday (or same day if the ticket is bought on Tuesday).
3. They can book their du Tuesday two-for-one tickets on the same week of the movie from Sunday through Tuesday in one of two ways:

1. Online: Customers can skip the queues by purchasing their two-for-one tickets online. They can choose any movie and VOX Cinemas location from the top right, then they will be asked to type in the code received and their mobile number before checkout.
2. In person: Customers need to show the SMS ticket at the VOX Cinemas box office to get their two-for-one tickets if they are going to buy du Tuesday movie tickets in person.

Seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each du customer can request one text-ticket per week. Text-tickets expire at midnight each Tuesday, i.e. they are only valid up until the following Tuesday.
