About Hala Badri’s Key Accomplishments:
In 1992, Hala was honoured with the Sheikh Rashid Award for Scientific Excellence for outstanding academic achievement in my GCSEs, and in 2003, she received a second Sheikh Rashid Award for after graduating from Zayed University with an MBA in Managing E-Business. Badri also hold a Higher Diploma in Communication Technology – Journalism/Graphic Design from Dubai Women’s College, graduating with Distinction and Highest Honour.
She came to du in 2006 after working for seven years at Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC). Her first position within the company was Director of Corporate Communications, and during her time in the position she completed the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Development Programme. With this qualification to back her, she was raised to the position of Executive Vice President of Brand and Communications within just two years of being with the company.
In June 2011, she was presented with the Patron’s Roll of Honour Award during the Emirates Women Awards (EWA), in recognition of her efforts in supporting the mission of the EWA.
