Buy online through Google Play without using a credit card

Starting today, du’s customers can charge purchases from Google Play™ direct to their du bill without having to use their bank cards online. The process known as direct operator billing, brings greater convenience for consumers making online purchases on their mobile devices.

Jawad Shaikh, Executive Vice President, Digital Business, du, said: “As part of our commitment to finding smarter digital solutions that simplify our customers' lives, we are offering our customers a more convenient way to pay on Google Play. With some of the most popular mobile apps and games available, direct billing with du will make making it easier than ever for our customers to download the Google Play apps they want and make in-app purchases, without the need for credit cards.

Customers will enjoy secure credit card-free online transactions. The introduction of this payment method means customers can shop from anywhere in the world within seconds, whenever and wherever they want. Purchased applications can either be charged as part of a du customer’s monthly bill for post-paid accounts, or through their prepaid credit balance.
