As the official sponsor of the 19th annual Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA), du will once again broadcast the competition free of charge to viewers across the Middle East and North African region. For the first time, viewers will have the opportunity to watch the Awards on du View, giving them the flexibility of watching the ceremony from a mobile or tablet, as well as their TV.

The DIHQA, sponsored by the Dubai government, is an annual award given to those who successfully memorise and recite the Holy Quran. The Award was established to encourage the Muslim youth to spread the Quranic values of peace and love by inspiring them to read and understand the Holy Quran.

du TV subscribers can watch the Dubai International Holy Quran Award channel for free on du’s dedicated channels 10 & 653 or on the go on du View. du View is a free application for du TV subscribers which they can download from Apple App, Google Play, Xbox One Market Place or Samsung Smart Hub.. Coverage will be live and continuously aired, starting from the first day of Ramadan and continuing until the last day of Eid. The live broadcast will be available on the following satellite frequencies; Nilesat TP (12360V) and Arabsat Badr4 (12111H).
