Reading your bill is easy once you know what is what. Take a look at the bill below for a simple explanation to every part.

  • 1 Bill date

    The date the bill was generated

  • 2 Bill period

    This specifies the period of time covered by your bill.

  • 3 Account number

    The number we use to identify your account with us. Please provide us with your account number when contacting us via phone, email or correspondence. This will help us find your account details and handle your query quickly and effectively.

  • 4 Balance from your last bill

    Details about your previous balance, payment(s) processed, adjustments and outstanding balance, if any.

  • 5 Cr (Credit)

    This stands for credit. If it appears before the ‘total remaining’ amount, it means that you don’t have an overdue payment and this will be used against future payments.

    However, if it appears against the amounts of other credits and charges, adjustments or discounts, it simply means that this is an extra amount you’ve earned from our offers.

  • 6 Total remaining

    This is the amount payable from your previous bill(s).

  • 7 Current month charges

    This specifies all your monthly charges including monthly recurring charges, usage charges, other credits/charges, monthly commitment fees and discounts.

  • 1 Total

    This includes charges for that particular bill period.

  • 2 Due date

    Please ensure your payment is received before your bill’s due date. The second page of your bill shows you simple and easy ways to pay your bills. Places such as banks, any of our stores and a number of partner outlets throughout the UAE.

  • 3 Grand total

    This is the combined amounts of both your current and total monthly charges.

  • 1 Bill summary

    This is a detailed outline of all the packages to which you’re subscribed. Under each of these subscribed services, you’ll find the total amount due for that particular bill period.

  • 2 Account summary

    This is a detailed summary of the sums you’ve already paid; what the amount is since your last bill, adjustments and the total sum for all of the services you currently use.

  • 3 Talk, Surf and Watch charges

    Here you’ll find monthly charges for your Talk, Surf and Watch package; including monthly package payment, itemised bill, Wi-Fi usage charges, activation fee (if applicable) and discounts (where applicable).

  • 4 Talk and Surf charges

    Here you’ll find the monthly charges for your Talk and Surf package; including monthly package payment, itemised bill, Wi-Fi usage charges, activation fee (if applicable) and discounts (where applicable).

  • 5 Landline charges

    This explains in detail all of the charges related to your landline service, including package, services, usage and discounts (where applicable). Lastly it itemises specific usage charges, like those related to international calls and/or call forwarding.

  • 6 Broadband charges

    This explains in detail all of the charges related to your Broadband service; the amount of data used, Wi-Fi access along with additional fees and charges.

  • 1 TV charges

    Depending on the TV services you’re subscribed to, this section details your monthly charges as well as any usage charges and discounts (where applicable).

  • 2 Mobile benefits summary

    These are all the benefits which you receive on your Elite Plan. This includes value national and international minutes, SMSes, free data and bonus rewards that were used. Bonus international minutes earned will be carried over to the alternate month. Customer’s using Elite line privileges can keep a check on their remaining free units of included minutes, SMSes and data, simply SMS ‘Rewards’ to 1233.

  • 3 Mobile charges

    This includes monthly recurring charges, usage charges, other credits charges, monthly commitment fees and discounts. Depending on the plans and services you’re subscribed to, you may or may not have used during the period, the total will be the amount you owe for all mobile charges, except Mobile Broadband charges. Elite line customer’s can now request for their last monthly bill and the overdue amount details by sending ‘bill’ to 1233.

  • 4 Mobile Broadband charges

    This includes charges related to your Mobile Broadband usage, including monthly and usage charges, other credit charges and discounts (where applicable).

  • 5 Monthly commitment fees

    This is your minimum charge per month, for your mobile plan. It’s the fees as per your agreement with us. This applies when signing up for our privilege plans like Number Privilege Plan or Smartphone Privilege Plan.

  • 1 Landline usage

    This is an itemised section, detailing all of the calls and Wi-Fi access you’ve used both locally and internationally. Note that the zero charged calls won’t appear in the itemised section of your bill anymore. You’ll also notice a key to icons on the top-right-hand-side, which when placed alongside specific calls, highlight the benefits you’ve received.

  • 2 National calls

    These are calls made to landline and mobile (du or other networks).

  • 3 International calls

    Made to international numbers

  • 4 Broadband usage

    This explains your additional data usage charges and Wi-Fi access charges.

  • 5 Movies on Demand

    This specifies the movie you have watched, when and its cost.

  • 1 Mobile usage

    This is an itemized section, detailing all the mobile phone calls you have made locally and internationally. You’ll also notice a key to icons on the top-right-hand-side, which, when placed alongside specific calls, highlights the benefits which you’ve received. The benefits you’ve received are mentioned in the ‘Mobile benefits summary’.

  • 1 Additional data

    The service is part of your monthly charges. This section only details additional data you have consumed.

  • 2 Video calls

    This specifies where, when, for how long and what the charges are for every time you’ve made a Video call.

  • 3 Mobile TV

    This specifies when, what you have watched and what the charge is every time you’ve used Mobile TV.

  • 4 Caller Tunes

    This describes when, what you have used and what the charge is every time you’ve used this particular service.

  • 5 Mobile content

    This describes when, what you have used and what the charge is everytime you’ve used Mobile content.

  • 6 Wi-Fi access

    This specifies where, when, for how long and what the charge is every time you’ve used Wi-Fi.

  • 7 International roaming

    This specifies all the incoming calls/SMSes/MMSes/ data you’ve made/sent/used while abroad.
