Buy a Nokia E5 or E72 smartphone from any du shop or authorized dealers and get free 200MB per month for 6 months (on 2nd to 7th bill). Worth AED600.

How does it work?

Whether you are a new or an existing customer, you will be able to buy one of the 2 available Nokia devices (E72 or E5) and get 200MB data bundle automatically activated.

You will be getting the data bundle billed and reimbursed to you as a credit back of AED100 in your bill, starting 2nd bill until the 7th bill.

Who can enjoy the Handset Credit Back offer?

Any Elite Plan customer can enjoy the Nokia 200MB offer, if he buys one of the two available Nokia devices (E72 or E5).

How can I purchase the Nokia 200MB offer?

You can visit du shops or eShop at http://shop.du.ae or any authorized dealers to get one of the two available Nokia handsets.

New customers and PayG Customers migrating to Elite plan will need to provide the following documents:

UAE Nationals: Passport copy OR UAE National ID OR UAE Driving license

Expats: Copy of Passport with residency visa (no visa required for GCC nationals)

AND

  • last month utility bill (electricity, water or fixed line) with physical address OR
  • current tenancy/ownership document with physical address OR
  • salary certificate of AED 2,500++ OR
  • pay slip stamped and valid (last 30 days)
  • Credit card (UAE issued)

What is the monthly fee for Nokia 200MB Offer?

There is no monthly fee for the Nokia offer for 6 months (6 bills).

  • On the first bill the 200MB offer (monthly fee and data usage) will be prorated and billed.
  • On the 2nd until the 7th bill you will receive a credit back of AED 100 on your bill.
  • You will start getting a bill of AED 100 for the 200 MB bundle from the 8th bill until the bundle is canceled by you.

All the time you will continue paying the Elite plan monthly fee of AED 25.

Is this promotion limited to certain handsets?

Yes it is currently limited for two handsets (E72 and E5).

What if I use another handset with my SIM, will I still get the monthly 200MB bundle offer?

No. You must keep using your purchased Nokia Handset to get the free data bundle from du.

What if I change my Nokia for one month and use it later, will I continue receiving the monthly 200MB bundle?

Yes, you will be getting the free 200 MB for the remaining number of months. The one month you will not be using the SIM card with the Nokia handset will be lost.

What if I change my first purchased Nokia and get another Nokia with the 200MB offer?

You will stop getting the 200MB offer with the old Nokia and start getting the 200MB applicable with the new Nokia for the next 6 months.

How will the credit appear in the my Elite Plan bill?

You will see on your bill an additional line labeled:

“Data Bundle – credit back for the period DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY”.

Is there any validity for this data bundle?

Yes. It has a validity of 1 bill cycle. In case you don’t use this data then it will expire.

What will happen if I loose my Nokia handset?

In this case you will continue getting the 200MB bundle.

What if I don’t want to get the data bundle, will I keep getting the AED100 as a credit back?

No, if you decide to opt-out from the data bundle, than you will not be getting any credit back in your bill. For opt-out please call to customer care on 155.

What if I want to get a smaller data bundle instead, will I keep getting the AED100 as a credit back?

No, if you decide to go for a smaller data bundle, than you will be getting the credit back worth the value of the data bundle you decided to take. So, the credit back will be up-to a maximum of AED 100.

In any case, the 200 MB bundle will be activated when you buy the handset and you are able to change it after activation at self care channels or any du shop or customer care on 155.

What if I want to get a bigger data bundle instead, will I keep getting the AED100 as a credit back?

Yes, if you decide to go for a bigger data bundle, than you will keep getting the AED100 credit back in your monthly bill and you have to pay the difference

In any case, the 200 MB bundle will be activated when you buy the handset and you are able to change it after activation at any du shop or customer care on 155.

When will the free bundle start?

You will start getting the free data bundle from the second bill on and receive it for 6 bills. On the first bill the bundle price and data usage will be prorated. So if you got your device in the middle of the bill cycle you will pay AED 50 and get 100MB with it. On the 6th bill you will be charged AED 100 for the 200 MB package.

What about my 5MB that I get automatically with du Elite plan?

You will continue enjoying your 5 MB that you get with elite plan. The 5MB will be used first and than you will start consuming from the 200MB.
