Pay by the second
At du, we believe it’s only fair that we offer all our customers simple, honest and transparent pricing from the very first second.
That’s why we have introduced a new and precise charging method for all your calls providing more value to you.
This means all your calls are charged by the second and not rounded up to the next minute. If you make a short call with du lasting 20 seconds, you will be charged only for 20 seconds and not 1 minute.
If you make a long call lasting 11 minutes and 37 seconds, you will be charged only for 11 minutes and 37 seconds and not 12 minutes.
Pay by the Second is available on all national and international voice and video calls you make from the UAE, with the exception of: 1) roaming calls as these roaming charges are dependant on the international operator network you are roaming with, in such instances, du cannot guarantee Pay by the Second; 2) All premium rate and flat rate calls which are charged by the minute.
