Early cancellation and migration:

  • An early cancellation fee of AED 300 applies if a customer exits Elite Plan before a period of 6 months.
  • An Early migration fee of AED 300 applies if a customer migrates a line from postpaid Elite Plan to prepaid Pay As You Go® plan before a period of 6 months.
  • A downgrade fee of AED 100 applies if a customer migrates a postpaid Elite Plan to prepaid Pay As You Go® plan after 6 months.

  • Tenancy/ownership contract. If you're a tenant please bring along a copy of "Tenancy Contract Information Registration Certificate"(Ejari) by RERA. A stamped copy is not necessary.
  • Salary certificate/ Letter from employer showing a salary of minimum AED 2,500.

Plus the above mentioned requirements, both UAE nationals and expatriates should provide one of the following:

  • A valid Platinum credit card issued by UAE institutions
  • Any credit card with auto-payment
  • A salary certificate of AED 15,000 or more
  • A security deposit of AED 4,500

1. Will my consumption of free international minutes (20/500/750) count against against the IDD slabs for getting rewards on International calls?
Free allowance on International calls as a part of Elite super plans will not be counted against the IDD slabs required  to get Bonus on International usage. International usage billed over and above the free allowance will be counted for the bonus.

2. How will I receive the bonus for the two IDD slabs?

  • If you have spend less than AED 500 on your international calls in your bill (monthly benefit of 250/500/750 international minutes excluded), you will receive a bonus on international calls in the 2nd bill after the month earning the bonus.
  • If you have spend more than AED 500 on international calls within your bill (monthly benefit of 250/500/750 international minutes excluded), you will receive a bonus of 100% on international calls in the 2nd bill after the month earning the discount.
3. I would like to subscribe to Elite Super 750 Plan but I don't have Platinum card, can I give you a deposit instead?
We appreciate your interest in upgrading to Elite Super 750 plan but at this stage it is a requirement to have a Platinum Card or a credit card from the same category  to be able to subscribe to this plan.

4. have a smartphone offer with an elite Plan, will I continue getting my smartphone offer if I migrate to Elite Super plan?
Yes you will continue enjoying your smartphone offer and enjoy the benefits of the Elite Super 100/250/500/750 plan.

5. I have an elite Plan since 2 months; will I continue receiving my credit back if I migrate to Elite Super plan?
No, if you migrate to Elite Super plan you will be losing your credit back for the next 2 months but you will be enjoying all the benefits that come with Elite Super plans

6. If I migrate from Elite regular plan to Elite Super Plan many times within the same bill cycle. How will my bonus for international calls be calculated?
Your bonus will be calculated separately for Elite Plan and for Elite Super Plan. So we will calculate the total number of days you spent under Elite regular plan and number of days you spent under Elite super plan, the number of IDD calls done in each period and apply the bonus slab that goes with the proper plan.

For example: if during a same bill cycle (30 days) you migrate from Elite Plan to Elite Super 100 after 10 days. Then after 10 days again, migrate back to Elite Plan, you would have spent a total of 20 days on Elite Plan and 10 days on Elite Super 100. Bonus slab calculation will be done as below:
  • Number of IDD calls done within Elite Plan time period (20 days). So Elite Plan Bonus Slabs will be applicable here.
  • Number of IDD calls done within Elite Super 100 period (10 days). So Elite Super 100 Bonus Slabs will be applicable here.
7. What if I do not want to stay on the Elite Super Plans?
Elite Super Plans can be cancelled at any time. Please call 155 for customer care or visit a du shop.
  • Please note that you will be charged an early cancellation fees of AED 300 if you decide to exit any of our Elite Plans before a period of 6 months.
8. I have Elite Super Plan and I would like to migrate to Pay As You Go?
To migrate to Pay As You Go the Elite Super plan has to be cancelled. Elite Super Plans can be cancelled at any time. Please call 155 for customer care or visit a du shop.
  • Please note that you will be charged an early cancellation fees of AED 300 if you decide to exit any of our Elite Plans before a period of 6 months.
9. Is there any exit charges from the Elite plan?
If you decide to deactivate your Elite plan or Elite Super Plan before a period of 6 months you will need to pay an early termination fee of AED 300.

10. I have 2 (or more) Elite plans that I would like to deactivate, do I need to pay 2 early termination fees?
Yes, you will need to pay AED300 per Elite line. So, for 2 deactivations you will need to pay AED 600.

11. Are there any exceptions that will exempt me from paying the early termination fees?
No exceptions are made for the payment of the early termination fees.

12.. Can I deactivate my Elite plan within the first 6 months of subscription by calling 155?

No, to deactivate your elite plan within this period, please visit any of our du shops. You will have to pay your outstanding bill + the early migration fees of AED300 in this case. Please go to any du shop to clear your bill. In case you change your mind after du customer care calls you, the AED 300 will be refunded back to your bill.

13. Do I need to wait for my bill to be able to deactivate my Elite plan?

You can clear your bills in du shops along with the early termination fee.

14. What if a customer wants to migrate before 6 months from the elite plan to Pa As You Go plan?
Early migration fees of AED300 should apply in this case. Please go to any du shop to migrate from Elite plan to Pay As You Go plan.

15. I have an Elite Super 500 Plan and I would like to cancel after 2 weeks, what should I pay?
You will have to pay your outstanding bill + the early migration fees of AED300 in this case. Please go to any du shop to clear your bill. In case you change your mind after du customer care calls you, the AED 300 will be refunded back to your bill.
