How to start using your iPhone

  • Insert your du SIM card into your new iPhone
  • Download and install iTunes to your PC / Mac
  • Run iTunes, and when presented with the Apple End User Licence Agreement, accept the terms if you wish to proceed
  • Connect the USB cable that comes in the iPhone package to your PC / Mac and to your iPhone
  • When the iPhone is successfully registered, you will see a message on the screen of your iPhone indicating that your iPhone has been successfully activated

Terms and conditions

  • If a Customer acquired a mobile Service including any iPhone handset and 1 GB data bundle from us on an Elite or Emirati plan between 29 October 2011 to 9th February 2012 ("Promotion Period"), upon service activation within the Promotion Period, that Customer will receive a 10GB data allowance the for the next 3 billing cycles. In the following 9 billing cycles the Customer will receive a data allowance for the in accordance with the table set out in clause
  • From 10th February 2012, new Customers acquiring a mobile Service including an iPhone handset on an Elite or Emirati plan will receive an additional data allowance as set out in table below for period of 12 months from the date of service activation.

  • Pay As You Go® customers who acquire an iPhone and spend at least AED100 a month will receive an additional data allowance of 1GB for the following month. 
  • Any used data will expire at the end of each month.

 

1. Is there any validity for the data which I am receiving each month?

It has a validity of 1 bill cycle. In case you don't use this data then it will expire. You will get new free data units for the next month.

2. Can I deactivate iPhone Data bundle offer?

Yes, you can at any time, but please be aware, that you will not have any free data. Thereafter only Free data as a part of the Elite plan will be applicable.

3. I am a new customer .When will I start getting the free data offer?

You will start getting the free data units after the iPhone offer activation.

4. What about my data that I get automatically with du Elite?

You will continue enjoying your data included in Elite connection in additional to the iPhone Data bundle offer. Any unused data will expire at the end of each month

After the end of the offer, 12 months period, customer will be charged the full price for the data bundle that the customer was on during the offer period. Customer has the option to change the Data Bundle on-line Selfcare.du.ae, calling 135 or visiting any our shop. Data bundle change will be done at the next bill cycle.
