Facebook Mobile MMS service
You can upload photos or videos to your Facebook
profile from your phone using Multimedia Messaging Service MMS.
Here are some tips to help you:
- To find out what your personalized upload email
address is, please take the following steps:
1. Go to your Publisher, located at the top
of your Facebook Wall, and click the Photos button next to
"Attach"
2. Select "Upload a Photo"
3. Click the "upload via email" link.
A dialog box will appear with your personalized upload email and
further information about using this feature. Be sure to save your
upload email address as a contact for easy access.
- To send a photo/video to Facebook, send MMS to your
personalized email address
- Pictures and videos are directly posted to your user’s profile
under Mobile Uploads Album.
1. Do I need activation before I can use this service? No activation is required. The service is available to all du
customers as long as you have registered your profile with
Facebook.

If there is ambiguity of the <name> in a query, a message
will be sent like:

Responding with ‘n’, ‘next’ or ’more’ will display
additional search results or message text if present.
Other Notifications
If you do not send an SMS in 45 days, your account will be
inactivated and the following reminder message will be sent to
you:
You have not used Facebook texts in over 45 days.
Notifications will be turned off. To continue receiving Facebook
Mobile Texts, reply "ON" within 48 hours.
Poke notification:

4. Can I use my mobile handset to access Facebook like I usually browse on Internet? Yes, as long as you have the mobile handset with the browsing capability. Standard data charges apply. You are advised to subscribe to affordable du data packages for a worry-free browsing experience.
5. Is there any activation fee for this service? There is no activation fee charged for using this service.
6. How much do I have to pay? SMS – regular SMS rate (no premium charges) – only
charged for SMS you sent NOT SMS received
MMS – regular MMS rate (no premium charges)*
Data (for Facebook Internet browsing) – regular pay per use or
regular data package charges depending on which option you
choose*
*Except if you are roaming which roaming charges
are applied by operators you roam with
7. Can I use these services in my desired languages, for example Arabic? There are different language options available for the web
version, but not the SMS commands. However content of the message
can be in your desired language if your handset allows composition
of the desired language and the language availability on facebook.
