International connectivity
In order to address our Carrier Partner global connectivity needs, International Carrier Relations has purchased and leased network assets reaching major cities in the world. Voice, data and IP traffic is now exchanged with our Carrier Partners through interconnection in many of the world’s traditional business centres as well as the new growing economies. We are committed to delivering high quality global connectivity solutions and ensuring that our network achieves maximum availability.
We have invested heavily in International cable systems, both terrestrial and submarine. We have long term leases on capacity on the FLAG Falcon cable system along with our own landing station in Jebel Ali. This landing station is backed up through our owned terrestrial cables going to both Oman and Saudi Arabia where we extend on SMW3, TW1 or SMW4 cables to reach any major city in the world. Additionally, we own significant inventory on the Europe India Gateway (EIG) cable system.
