Masar
As a UAE-born company, we feel it is our responsibility to give back to the community to which we belong, and so we have introduced Masar, a scheme through which we have offered, and will continue to offer, training and employment to Emiratis. To date, we’ve achieved 23% Emiratisation within the company, with a goal of increasing that to 25% by the end of 2011.
With our aim to be the employer of choice for Emiratis, and to provide a career with us rather than merely a job, Masar is focused on hiring, developing and then retaining homegrown talents within our organization. Our target audience is graduate trainees, the people who will grow to become the future leaders of our community, and possibly even our company.
Through the initiative, we provide not only a unique work experience but an accepting, multi-national community environment within which to work, grow, and develop throughout your career path. Utilizing a variety of teaching methods, from classroom sessions to direct customer interaction and individualized performance and coaching, Masar’s 18 month-long graduate training program is, we believe, a vital stepping stone towards securing a successful role within a major organization… our own, of course.
Fujairah Call Centre
Proof of our dedication to Emiratisation is our Fujairah-based call centre which, when opened later this year, will be a 100% Emirati-managed and operated Customer Care Centre - a first of its kind in the country. Positioned in such a way so as to be able to offer job opportunities to not only Fujairah but the surrounding Emirates, this center is pioneering in that it is encouraging the people of the UAE to focus on their ingrained hospitable natures to hone their customer care skills.
